When I was a kid I remember people north of the border being somewhat upset that Flensburg was not returned in 1920, actually. They found it very unfair that massive German immigration between 1864 and 1920 meant it didn’t vote Danish.
I don’t know if it’s true, of course. Overall I think the vote in 1920 was fair and balanced and showed a clear result.
Any chance you guys want at least Flensburg back? I wouldn’t mind…
