    Defrost / fast pre-heat.

    Fast pre-heat: It is recommended that the oven is always pre-heated before use, whatever the cooking temperature. Fast preheat is not suitable for cooking - once the oven has reached temperature, switch to one of the oven functions below.

    Defrost: Place small frozen items on an oven tray at the lowest shelf position, and set the temperature selector knob to O°C. Never use heat to defrost as this can pose a health risk. Larger items such as joints, or a whole chicken or turkey, should be defrosted in the refrigerator.
