I think it really depends on the generation; the older generation in general isn’t very tech-savvy. But I know quite a lot of tech-savvy gay and bi young adults.

Lemmy as a social network is quite a small community. I expect most of the current users to be quite proficient at using a link aggregator such as Lemmy. Unless all you can see is the exact same questions over and over, I’d stick with downvoting.
Some people forget that even if you’re in a heterosexual or gay relationship, you can still be bi. Family members who I’ve told I’m bi suddenly started to think I’m gay, just because I was in a gay relationship.
I do have the intentions to keep it hands-off and self-moderating for the most part. I believe that being able to ask the right (and wrong) questions for the LGBTQ+ and its allies is very important in the learning process. That being said, I would like to remain federated with other instances where any clear hate speech, or individuals who are solely here to insult others, may be met with a comment removal or a ban from the community.
I am testing the waters here. I’m aware that some instances have very strict rules, including a total ban on pornography.
World of Warcraft players hate Bobby Kotick, yet he’s still the CEO of Activision Blizzard and earning a ridiculous amount of money for his next yacht.
For those who do not know, it’s the most downvoted comment on reddit.
Any takers at all? look around
Or the dev should make a feature so porn subs don’t show up in /all by default, and that you’ll have to opt-in.
Perhaps it was included with your motherboard?
Enjin has completely shut down.
Yeah I can see it. I had no clue that I could see posts made on a Mastodon instance on Lemmy.
In some lights such as in the D4V2, you can do a ¼ turn on the tailcap for a mechanical lockout.
And it looks like the light you’ve mentioned has a mechanical lockout too. https://thelitereview.com/flashlights/olight-s1r-ii-baton-review/#:~:text=A quarter turn (anti-clockwise) of the tail portion of the light will enable mechanical lockout.
