- no registration with vpn is how we avoid A LOT of spam, and cunts posting gore or dox info. AS THE EMAIL OF REJECTION FOR VPN USAGE SAYS
- go host your own slop instance, at this point is as easy as hosting a gts
- we do have that. And you can move your bsky acc to the wafrn pds and configure it to be your main. Requires A LOT of tweaking and is a manual process

A lot of people are abandoning Twitter because Musk has a habit of banning people who post things that he doesn’t like. If they criticise Tesla, he bans them, if they are mean to him, he bans them, if they say something about his favourite sports team… you get the idea.
I made what I considered to be a perfectly innocent quote from a fandom I liked. It showed no support for an anti-trans ideology, and when questioned I made it clear that I am very capable of separating the work from the artist. That just because I like a given work doesn’t mean I support, endorse, believe or condone everything the artist/creator does.
Which in this day and age is something I think we should all consider an important thing to be able to do. If we learn Jane Austen was a paedophile, does that mean we stop reading Pride and Prejudice? If we learn Charles Dickens smoked crack and beat his kids, do we force people to stop quoting Great Expectations?
If Shakespeare was suddenly revealed as a Russian Spy does that mean every single quote, play, sonnet and work of his is now forbidden?
Or can we learn to say “This is our house now” and say “yeah - this author is a psycho bitch who no one should admire and should be cast out of decent society, but does that mean we should burn all the books and films and so on”?
Anyway - that aside, my point is for a site that supposedly prides itself on “free speech” (it’s right there in its mission statement) the admins acted exactly like Musk does on Twitter - petty and vindictive and kind of pissy.
I haven’t brought it up anywhere else, I haven’t ever started a vendetta and I haven’t launched a crusade. This is the one and only time I’ve mentioned it in two months and only because it was a topic of the post.

My point is that, like Twitter and other sites, you purport to support free speech, but clearly your definition of free speech only goes so far because when push comes to shove your own morals and ideology wins out over other people’s rights.
I didn’t say anything controversial, I didn’t post anything hateful, hurtful or offensive. I just wrote one quote and that was it - you exploded and kicked me off the site.
To me, that screams fascism.
