but also “seperating the art from the artist” isnt really doable while they still make money off it; if she lost copyright to it somehow or whatever then it be different but also you can argue theres a kinda bigoted message all throughout the series,

i dunno why wafrm would advertise as being a “free speech” place like that it feels like its asking for something like this to happen; anyway outright banning over this it feels a bit excessive i personally would have probably talked about it with you a bit more and probably left it on a warning or seeing if anything else comes up; but i also immediately dismissed you as purposefully trolling and shit; so i can understand why the mods would react this way. but i can understand where your coming from a little

@GabrielBell12fi from what they said it sounded like “not supporting the author” … while supporting the author; and it sounded more like the ban cane from screaming about free speech which likely came off as a far right or libertarian shit

but i digress this isnt a free speech issue … your being banned from a random website … you can say “the mods are overly trigger happy” if you want; you can even not like the site for that if you want, but its not a human rights violation, and beleive me i say everything is a human rights violation (because it often is tbh …) your banned from a website, your fine, nothing bad has happened to you … maybe chill out? i can understand being mad of frustrated or whatever from being banned; thats fine your allowed, expected even probably; if wafrm was something you needed to like survive and its being denied to you now you’d have a point, but it isnt,

and its okay to be mad and upset but this is kinda over dramatic a bit …?

anyway wheres free speech absoluteist mfrs when leaking NDA shit, or state secrets, or caling for direct action, or every time protesters anywhere get arrested or … yknow actual ways the state violates peoples right to free speech every day?

@palladiumasteroid @GabrielBell12fi @gabboman for OP ‘free speech’ means cant hurt you and systemically deny you your rights over saying shit (which seems a given rights are inalienable, and not being harmed is a one of them but states ignore peoples rights all the time) it also doesnt exist btw, you cant say “i want to kill” followed by “the president of the united states” (but its fine if its “trans people” or some other minority ofc) or anything the state deemed “state secrets” or what a large company copyrighted or what someone said was NDA; or … protests that call for direct action … why is that ever mentioned?

and only with dismantling the state and other orgs who are “allowed” to disregard human rights like that, would we actully have freedom of speech;

its still nothing to do wih using social sites; freedom of association means that we can tell you to leave us alone; w blocking or banning; you still exist and nothing happens to you.
