Y’all it’s bout to be 100 degrees all next week where I am. My ideal temp is between 60-70 so I’m wilting at the thought.

I love love love layers and accessories, but that is difficult right now. So here’s what I’ve got:

  • loose, open, light-colored cotton tops that can be worn over a tank top.
  • hats that allow ventilation but keep the sun out of your eyes.
  • lightweight jewelry can be layered.
  • I don’t step outside in any degree weather without sunglasses.
  • if you’re pulling your hair up, there are all kinds of bows and scarves that will add interest without adding insulation.

If anyone has tips for staying fashionable in the extreme heat, I’d love to hear them!

    • agreed with others re sunscreen, wear and re-apply, and wear hats and cover up with UV protective clothing if you know you’ll be in the sun
    • wear less clothing 😉
    • bring a change of clothes
    • move from air-conditioned place to air-conditioned place and don’t dwell in the humid hell between
