At this point I’m not sure if I should have seen this coming or be surprised that both Disney and Universal are suing against an AI company.
Based on the AI blowback we’re seeing from consumers all the way to individual creators and major corporations; I have to wonder at what point will the AI corporations learn that nonconsensual siphoning of information and data is unsustainable?
My current prediction is that the majority won’t and will get sued to the ground and only a small fraction will learn to partner and collaborate and actually become sustainable.
I prefer the first scenario, personally.
