    But the lazy in me doesn’t want to type it out on another site. Especially on mobile where I can’t pull it up side by side.

      And then there’s the ß and ü ö ä and so on. Glad I have most of the keys on my keyboard, but on a mobile device? That does sound like too much effort indeed.

          I should look into that. Is it on f-droid or play store? The way I’d write German letters on my android now is just swiping to the side to switch keyboard layout from Danish or English to German as I have that set up, but that keyboard does look interesting.
          EDIT: Ok, found it both places. And it’s very cool. I should’ve been using that for ages instead of the default Samsung keyboard, it’s so much easier to get special characters. Only gripe is the movement key being right next to send, a risky position.

            Most android keyboards just allow you to long-press on characters to type similar characters. So for example, on my Samsung keyboard, if I hold “O” for a second I get a popup with 15 o-like characters. You can do that with all characters that have similar characters. “ß” is under “s”, “ä” under “a”, and so on.
