Oh, it’s kind of like “life after hate” I guess.
Everything I’ve read suggests that effective ways to change people’s mind require empathy and making them feel safe and comfortable. Most people don’t respond well to being insulted, and cold facts don’t do it either. So this seems like the right approach.
It’s frustrating because it’s a slow, expensive, process, and my emotional needs are unmet because I’m still mad at the maga-hat for what they did. But sometimes emotional needs are kind of stupid
