Weird experiences? I’m not sure this is even an nsfw question tbh.

The weirdest I ever ran into with sleepovers was stuff like food dares and the like, when it wasn’t a sleepover with plans.

I’m not saying nobody ever got up to nsfw activity, it happens. I didn’t partake much, just because once basic curiosity got satisfied as a kid, I wasn’t interested in doing exploration with other boys. Like, after figuring out that other boys had similar equipment, interest in their bodies went away. No desire for circle jerks or mutual masturbation either. Closest thing to that was cranking one out under a towel while spice tv was on lol. Porn was a rare commodity back in those days, so when you got access, it was kind of understood that you took advantage of it in the moment among the friends that could get access to such.

But it was all solo stuff, and kept discrete. But even that wasn’t necessarily a sleepover thing, it was more of a “while no parents are around” thing.

The real fun was blowing things up. One of my friends lived far enough outside of town, and far enough away from neighbors, that we could get up to some loudness lol. His parents had a place at a lake nearby, and as he got older, they didn’t force him to go. So he’d invite friends. The deal was that as long as he kept shit under a degree of control and made sure everything was spotless before they got back, they were fine with it.

But we weren’t the kind of kids to be drinking and tearing the house up. We were the kind of kids that wanted to use various chemicals to make things go boom. So we did! It was pretty tame at first, just firecrackers and such. But, once we discovered how to make our own, it got interesting. From there, we tried making the stuff that makes fireworks instead of just assembling things from premade supplies.

Took a bit of doing, but we put on some small scale shows a few times.

After that got boring, it was more “you see that fallen tree?” Yeah. “Let’s see if we can turn it into sawdust”. Okay. And we tried. Sawdust would not be an accurate description of the remains of said dead tree. More like a storm of splinters that blanketed part of the yard. That boom had deputies going up and down the road for a few hours. Windows were rattled.

We scaled back after that lol.

I was in the 6th grade. I was at another boy’s house, one we always teased for seeming effeminate. (I’m a millennial and things were different back then.) He offered to wrestle me. He wore tight spandex briefs and his dick slipped a little as he put them on, and it looked huge (I didn’t know what an erection was). It wasn’t a big deal to me, but I was disappointed that his wrestling outfit was just underwear. Then he got on top of me on the bed, it felt sexual, and I asked him to stop, so he did.

He apologized, he felt really bad about it, even confessing to his mother un-prompted, and eventually my mother told me something like “you were a victim”. I didn’t even care about the incident, but there was a weird unspoken homophobic attitude between our families. A couple years later when I was dealing with real, unrelated issues, my parents found a way to incorporate gay-affirming rhetoric into their conversations with me, even though I was only mildly bisexual and a kissless virgin. I’m now very openly gay (partially as a way of deflecting coming out as trans), but it wasn’t a consideration back then.

Call me a devil’s advocate, but I don’t find the sharing of formative moments to be particularly harmful.

I have noticed some threads of that nature. In this case though, I think these are very healthy discussions because they are often people’s first sexual or romantic experiences, and it’s nice to have solidarity.
