Jeg tænker at regeringen frygter at miste (eller allerede har) den overvågning af os de få fra USA gennem kabelsamarbejde.

Kabelsamarbejde er byttehandel med USA hvor hver lands efterretningstjenester udspionerer hinandens borger så de kan fastholde at påstå ikke overvåge deres egne borger. Det sker hved at give USA fuld adgang till alle daya. Se fx FE-skandalen

De prøver bare at lovliggjor hvad allerede er i gang. Jeg er slet ikke trygt med det her men det er stadigvæk meget bedre end vare give USA adgang til alt som sker nu.
