No no no, they don’t say it’s genocide. I’m pretty sure they are fully aware it’s genocide, as that’s the purpose.

Russian decisions over the past few years haven’t exactly shown much long-term strategic choices or forethought, so I doubt this is an argument for them
The US will attach an angry letter to the next shipment of bombs, I’m sure.
They have just fucking stopped halfway covering what they are doing haven’t they? They realised that daddy US will protect them no matter what, so now they just go full steam ahead.
It is fairly well known that hackers backed by the Chinese government have targeted and infiltrated critical infrastructure in the West, for example https://theguardian.com/world/2024/apr/19/fbi-china-hack-infrastructure and https://www.reuters.com/technology/us-disrupts-chinese-botnet-targeting-critical-infrastructure-fbi-says-2024-01-31/ . The assumption is that this will be exploited in case of a future conflict.
It is not unthinkable that starting a bunch of fires in houses all across the country to overload emergency services and cause general unrest and chaos, is part of this strategy.
It still possibly going to send your designs to China (and you could even question having a device easily capable of starting a fire that is actively connecting to China). The only way I’d use a Bambu is if it’s disconnected from the internet all together, but if I’m not mistaken they need a cloud connection to work in the first place.
It was cancelled after about a year. They said the technological developments of drones went faster than they could adjust the training of the birds, there were concerns about the well being of the birds but also the risks of using large predators in areas with big crowds, and there wasn’t enough control over where the drone would end up - the bird might knock it out of the sky over a crowd.
All in all it seems like the whole idea was just a bit too uncontrollable to work as a counter-terrorism measure at events, which was the goal. The eagles just added a level of uncertainty that was not worth the gains. It might work in a situation like Ukraine though, where it is a more traditional battlefield with few civilians around. On the other hand, the drones used are offen a bit bigger and more advanced than your standard DJI, and that could definitely end up hurting the birds.
You know, even though it’s still rewarding Israel’s actions in a way, out of all the support the US is giving, this one I probably mind the least. It will prevent further innocent deaths (regardless of what side they are on, this is always a net positive), and it can’t be used by Israel against the Palestinian and Lebanese people. Let the US take over all of the defense of Israel if it means they stop delivering bombs and missiles that Israel will use to further their genocide.
I don’t think Israel would give a shit either way, and I don’t think they would face any more consequences from the international community than some strong words.
Yes, that’s why we have dead children now…
If this was the other way around, we’d have global outrage, days of mourning and piles of new weapons for Israel right now. We’d be speaking about one of the worst terrorist attacks in history.
Yes, because Hezbollah members never go outside and are never among innocent people. They just convenietly always sit together, do their shopping in the Hezbollah supermarket and take the Hezbollah-bus to get where they are going. Think, moron.
In the long run they are doing so much damage to the Jewish people. Effectively they’re (and by they mean anyone who is shouting “antisemitism” now) creating a situation where you are either supportive of Israel’s actions, or against Jews. It’s such a destructive approach.
Supply chains are vulnerable as hell. There’s photos of NSA agents installing backdoors in Cisco network equipment during the shipping to the customer. There’s no proof and it will probably take many years before we hear anything conclusive, but it is without a doubt within the capabilities of Israel or one of their allies intelligence agencies to intercept a shipment of pagers and install explosives in them.
Don’t do this. Not only is your response actually antisemitic, but relating Israeli and Zionist policy to Judaism is exactly what Netanyahu is doing in order to be able to play the anti semitism card. If you are against Israel’s actions, fight to make it clear that it is not the same as Judaism and support the Jewish people that speak out against Zionism and the Israeli government.
After later being a soldier for Israel and a “freelance strategy consultant” who co-produced a propaganda podcast with a member of the IOF’s social media team, Keller-Lynn later was published by the Wall Street Journal, covering Israel. Then, she obtained an intelligence dossier from Israel—and published damaging information about Israel’s avowed enemy the week the ICJ ordered it to pull back.
A few days later, Channel 4 in Britain got the dossier and said it contained “no evidence” to support Israel’s “explosive new claim” that “around 190 Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorist operatives” had worked as UNRWA employees and “more than 10 staffers took part in the events of 7th of October.” But by then the damage was done: UNRWA had lost hundreds of millions of funding. There is no telling when, or if, it will come back.
How was anything reported by Keller-Lynn ever “objective” news journalism?
The dossier mentioned in the WSJ article (an article authored by a known Israeli propagandist, for the record) did not contain any evidence supporting the claim that was made
I also advice you to read this, and consider the impact such propaganda has on real people. Real human beings. https://x.com/RnaudBertrand/status/1754881912550646078
Do you really want to be on that side of history? Do you want to look back on your life when you are on your deathbed and realize you supported the slaughter of tens- to hundreds of thousands of human beings just like you and me, based on lies and deception? And to have further spread and supported these lies?
The main activities of UN Watch
Monitor UN activities, resolutions, or official statements that are construed to be critical of Israel.[4]
Lobby for the removal of UN personnel who are considered critical of Israel[5]
Forming coalitions to leverage influence at the UN. This also entails assisting the interests of other groups to later count on their support.[6]
Lobby for the inclusion of AJC approved personnel; this is a standard operating procedure by the American Jewish Committee[7]
From https://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php/UN_Watch
UN Watch is very much still Israeli propaganda, or rather a lobbying organisation
I stand corrected.
Had a look at their articles, it’s still shameless pro-Israel propaganda though.
I was going to say: “no way they’d be that stupid again”, but then again the US just elected Trump for a second time so who knows
