I finished off the third part of Crisis on Infinite Earths. Much like the other two it was very forgettable.
Feels like the DC animated stuff has taken a huge nosedive in quality a few years ago.
Yeah it’s disappointing. I thought the first one was okay but forgettable (as you said), but the second and third just straight up weren’t good imo.
Yeah :( Even the suicide squad anime was such a disappointment…
I just caught up on season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen last night.
I wasn’t paying attention to the episode count as I was watching, so the season finale really caught me off guard as the tension climaxed. Can’t wait for a season three announcement date!
I watched the movie Felidae. I didn’t know what it was about; I had only heard that it wasn’t a kids’ movie, and I can definitively attest that it is certainly not a kids’ movie. It’s pretty good.
I’m just waiting for Terminator Zero to air.
I watched Sirocco and the Kingdom of the Winds over the weekend and it’s a beautifully made film with stunning art and music. The director was apparently inspired by Miyazaki films and Yellow Submarine and it shows in the fun plot and trippy visuals. Like most great kids films, I’d recommend this to adults as well because of how it deals with themes of family, love, and empathy.
This sounds really really cool, though I’ll have to catch it when it’s available for streaming because it’s not playing anywhere near me
Started to finally watch the Hulu Futurama seasons, as I hadn’t done so yet. After getting through the first meta-jokey one about returning again after being canceled again, I really enjoyed the next few ones!
I saw some King of the Hill as a kid but I didn’t appreciate how good the cultural commentary in the show was.
