Am I the only one who thinks it’s rude to just ask someone for a hit off a joint like that? Been to lots of festivals and shows, and been offered plenty of things, but never once thought to go ask someone for a piece of whatever they are enjoying. Seems pretty presumptuous to me? Maybe it’s more common in other parts of the world though.

Yeah, if someone decides to pass you a joint, awesome, but pestering people for weed is annoying. Personally, after COVID, I’m not sharing anything that touches my lips with anybody I wouldn’t kiss.

Seriously, the amount of times I’ve had someone I don’t know ask for a hit of my dab pen is insane.

It’s true. A beer is only half the price of a cigarette, grocery store price. He should give you two.

However, the cigarette to beer ratio is opposite in bars.

Are you comparing the price of a single cigarette to a single bottle of beer?

Yes, and while it’s obviously a bit of a joke, the prices have been like that when beer is on sale. Cigarettes are never on sale.

No I think some of them are just racism.

Hey it’s not necessarily racism; could just be garden-variety bigotry too

Every single stereotype is based in truth propaganda.

Most stereotypes have their birth in cultural propaganda. They reinforce the tribal in-group vs out-group that humans naturally fall into.

Stereotypes can form a few ways. Not all of which are based upon truth. Illusory correlation is the phenomenon of perceiving a relationship between variables even when no such relationship exists.
