I make a fruit platter for work each week, decided I might as well start posting them here. Any thoughts for what fruit I should go with next week? I kinda just tossed this together, haha!
You just couldn’t wait until tomorrow, huh?
FRUITY FRIDAY
IT WAS RIGHT THERE!
STOP BULLYING MEEEEEE.
Jkjk, it’s meant to be a midweek treat for my workplace. Thursday is the middle of the week for us. But yes. I know fruity Friday works so much better, so I just act Extra Gay those days.
Despite being tossed together, this has a really coherent color scheme! It looks very intentional.
I’m personally a big fan of pineapple, if you’re looking for something a little different next week. (And of course it goes really well with fresh coconut, but that can be tricky to get depending on season and location.)
Fun fact, pineapple was originally on this one. But the pineapple I bought, when cut open, was genuinely the most disappointed I’ve ever been in a pineapple in my life. Poor thing was so pale I’d have thought it had seen a ghost (if it had the eyes or mind to be spooked by one that is).
But coconut! Ohh you’re right, if I manage to find one I aught to try it.

If you have access to marionberries, I find they’re the best blackberry cultivar around by a wide range margin.

Hah, I love that.
Unfortunately for you, 90% of marionberries are grown in Oregon. Not sure how widely they’re distributed, but you’re in the right country at least! Hope you get an opportunity sometime.deleted by creator
cries in Australian don’t think I’ll get any here…
With the climate differences and the customs hoops for agricultural items… I imagine that may be a very difficult to task indeed.

Passion fruit, if you’re feeling adventurous!
If you see sugar kiss/origami/orange candy melon I recommend any of those! Melons are in season right now where I am, and those three are pretty much the best. Honeydew or sliced kiwi make a nice color break too! Then throw in some blueberries and you’ve got a rainbow!
Lychee and rambutan can be found at asian markets and are very pleasant
This looks so good and satisfying!
