No it is not. From sterilization to cleaning up it’s a pain in the ass. I’d rather have friends over and do just about anything else.
But having friends over for brew day does make the clean up a lot easier than being by your self.
Fruit wine is easy. Not sure what kind of advanced setup you are talking about.
Hard cider also took like an hour from what I remember. (Minus weeks(?) of fermentation time). But it was a fun reason to get together with friends I hadn’t seen for awhile
