hmm, the problem is that I see admins of some instances encourage us to do so, so that we don’t inflate the infra, but it doesn’t seem like Lemmy fully supports using image hosting services ~~
The UK is blocked from being able to see imgur content.

My gripe is that imgur is bloated, loaded to the brim with so many ads and trackers that it actually slogs down browsers, and culminates into a barely navigatable UI. There are other friendlier options.
Use catbox, postimages, or imgbb?
I switched to imgbb. I kinda didn’t want to use catbox cuz they are already poor, I wanted to abuse corporation services. And I was expecting there to be a preview of the image.

One thing I’ve learned in life is that there are people I do not wish to have a platform and will also miss dearly in certain contexts.
