    I have no idea that the intended interpretation of “Who want me hours” would be other than the pirate thing.

    That’s just the only meaning I can think of.

      It’s the slang phrasing of “real ____ hours,” so it’s “[real] ‘who want me’ hours.”

      Roughly translated: “This is the time when people are like, ‘who wants me?’”

        Thanks! That clears it up somewhat.

        Although I still don’t know if that means ‘I doubt anyone wants me’ or ‘I’m available if someone wants’, or ‘someone wants me but I don’t know who’, etc.
