This could be useful: Suppose people are gambling on outcomes I do/don’t like. Maybe “Chances that we all die in nuclear war”. If my superpower prediction is that a nuclear war will happen, I should place a bet to change the outcome from “guaranteed death” to “maybe death”.
That might work. My intent was that the natural order prevails either way. You just only know the outcome if you don’t intervene.
Brutal
This would suck for casual gamblers but be a godsend for problem gamblers
Wouldn’t it just convince problem gamblers that they would have been right if they’d only just bet?
Alright, good point
I can’t visualize this. Will you elaborate?
I pictured it ruining the experience for them and driving them away from gambling
Oh. That sounds good. I’m on board for anything that interferes with a debilitating addiction.
What if I Predict that say France is going to win a rugby game against New Zeeland, and then bet money on New Zeeland winning?
For my prediction to be wrong, New Zeeland would have to win. Since I acted on it my prediction would have to be wrong? right?
Infinite money glitch
Then you can’t predict it. You get the same chance as everyone else.
Zeeland
*Zealand
Ah damn, I got used to the Dutch “Zeeland”
They actually named it, “Zee Land” = Sea Land
Edit: Replied at wrong level for the 10th time today.
