Uh, while I appreciate the spirit of your message — names are important because saying ‘The group of people that I belong to genetically from Denmark’ is a lot harder to say than ‘Danish’.
Names are supposed to make things easier, not harder.
Totally true, which is why i myself most of the time use the words gay and queer (and totally enjoy using those words knowing what they were originally used for). But that doesn’t make the letter soup a bad thing. The ‘hardness’ of it is functional. There might be someone out there who demands all letters are used and in the right order, but don’t mistake me for someone who thinks it is fair to demand representation, respect and understanding isn’t something you claim so i believe you are totally free to go for the easier thing. 0 judgement from my side.
