New York’s governor, Kathy Hochul, called the arrest “bullshit” on social media and to reporters. She later said in a news conference that the charges against Lander had been dropped late on Tuesday afternoon.

If all of this weren’t so serious, it would be interesting, just from a sociological perspective, to see the extent to which public officials using expletives in public-facing remarks has increased of late.

Given this was basically accusing a politician of assault. Purely to Prevent him assisting a person in Court.

The amount of Expletive is Still way to fucking low.

Arrested For assaulting a police officer. Then Charges Dropped In a few Hours. Not only was there no case at all. But it is pretty bloody clear that the officers knew this at the time of arrest.

It was purely about not having to face opposition in court.

ICE really is turning into the MAGA equivalent of the SS.
