The Trump Organization has launched Trump Mobile and plans to release the T1, a smartphone that it says is “made in USA” at the same time that the iPhone 17 will launch. The problem is, the phone was made in China.
Marking ten years after the launch of Donald Trump’s original presidential campaign, the Trump Organization has decided to launch its own mobile phone network. Dubbed Trump Mobile, it is a network that is being promoted as an All-American service," and heavily leaning on the Trump brand.
While the launch of a new mobile phone network will certainly draw an audience of Trump followers, it feels more like a cash-in on the Trump brand rather than a real attempt to take on the U.S. mobile market.
So, donvict is lying?
wow, if it wasn’t for the known scammer behind it I would almost be excited for a non contract phone plan with some amounts on unlimited international calling.
This isn’t a mobile phone service provider. This is a carefully constructed data collection and tracking system that bills the user.
The main difference is here is who has your data, and why they want it. T-Mobile isn’t deporting people.
If any immigrant actually buys this, they deserve to be deported.
I mean we’ve seen it over and over again. Just ask Héctor Luis Valdés Cocho one of the leaders of latino’s for trump… Oh right he’s currently detained by ice, possibly to be deported.
He must be very happy to be deported. Personally I would probably just drive or fly home, but I guess that’s not possible for everyone in this economy.
Every service provider directly contributes to deporting people.
Odds are that the MAGA sycophants in the White House and Congress are all expected to get this and that all their data goes straight to China.
Saving others a click:

Trump Mobile is a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO). It will likely work on three major U.S. carriers, leveraging the 5G networks and coverage of AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile.
-
In a post to X by analyst Max Weinbach, it seems that the T1 closely resembles the T-Mobile REVVL 7 Pro 5G. The specifications of the display and the odd camera resolutions match up with the T-Mobile device, along with other details.

That smartphone is made by Wingtech, owned by the Chinese-owned manufacturer Luxshare. The T-Mobile version is believed to be built in Kiaxing, Wuxi, or Kunming, in China.
Didn’t I hear that the GOP hate 5G? I know that the Oklahoma GOP put it on their platform to eliminate it.
If Trump says it’s cool, they all break anyway. If Trump could make money off of LGBTQ and praise them. The GOP would start throwing gay parades. Hell, they are already all on grinder anyways.
Source? I hate being put in a position to have to defend the OK Republicans and they have done a lot of bullshit this term but I am pretty sure I would have heard about that being part of their platform…
Fair enough.
They aren’t the brightest blubs around. They wouldn’t be Republicans if they were smart.
They were never the sharpest bulbs.
the T1 closely resembles the T-Mobile REVVL 7 Pro 5G
No it fucking doesn’t. Will people please stop spreading this.
The phone is just a shit photoshop job. All three cameras depicted are identical down to the pixel. Here’s one camera overlaid on another with a difference filter:
The lighting in the “render” doesn’t even make sense.
The shadows imply that the camera “bump” is actually recessed since the shadows are along the top edge. Also where are the side buttons on the reverse?
I don’t think they’re talking about the janky render. They’re saying the published specs closely match the REVVL 7 Pro. The render as you point out is garbage and shouldn’t be used for anything.
Maybe the comparison with the REVVL phone is based on the stated specs rather than the obviously fake photo?
My point is that I think people are giving this project way to much credit. If they were basing it off a phone, it would be trivial to apply some textures to an existing photo or something. Hell, the specs say it has a “5000mAh long life camera” whatever the hell that means. None of it is real.
The fact that it resembles any real phone is sheer coincidence. Especially considering they don’t list a processor, just numbers that anybody can make up.

Guessing it runs android? Will it be a weird trumpified android?
I’d guess just standard android with some jingoistic wallpapers and a ton of backdoors installed.
“All the zero days that fit”
It’s adjusted to be used with small hands
Doubt trump will actually use it himself. He doesn’t have the brainpower to learn a new OS.
“Competitor”
Does the keyboard automatically change words to misspelled and all caps?
I think it comes with auto Russian language conversion.
How cowfefe you!
I’d also throw in random caps. I’m not sure why random words (not proper nouns) are always randomly capitalized in the middle of sentences.
Anyone that buys this phone is a fool
The same fools who send their Social Security check to Joel Oafsteen.
Concepts of US production.
I’m sure none of this will impact the Administration’s telecom policies.
