so i was talking to a maga family member about one of my stories i was planning to make, which happened to have a diverse set of characters from different cultures and countries.
the family member responded by calling the characters “dei”? (diversity, equity, inclusion) is this a word that maga uses as a slur?
i don’t even get how having diverse characters is an insult. do they WANT every single character in everything ever made to be white or something?
If you ask them what it is, I doubt they would be able to tell you what it stood for other than it is gaslighting (they call everything they don’t like gas lighting) for they gay lgbt agenda. Again, they wouldn’t know what lgbt stands for or that ‘gay’ is redundant
Its a term for diversity, equity, and inclusion policies. That said, MAGA tends to use it as a slur for anyone who isn’t a white Christian.

Cue the bodycam video of the drunk lady in an airport screaming that she’s being arrested because she’s white. That’s who hates DEI: fragile white conservatives.
When you’re socially aware enough to know being a bigot is frowned upon by most of humanity but you still need to get that ignorant hatred out.
Oh and, if being anything but a hwite European (Germanic/Nordic only too!) is morally wrong and deserving of hate, of course the media that shows anything else positively deserves some hate too!

America is just currently facing the reality that a bunch of people want a “white Christian ethnically cleansed” state
Because they have become convinced that they are poor not because people in power are getting greedier by the day. Or that energy returned on energy investment for oil has gone negative. But rather because someone else who isn’t exactly like them improved their lives a little bit.
So many people are going to die and there is nothing anyone can do to stop it from happening; the best we can do is slow it down and limit the death count; which is growing by the day
Well, yeah, that’s the way it’s used. It’s a way of saying the n word or the f word or whatever slur they don’t think they can get away with.
And yes, the only time they want anyone other than cishet whites is if they’re servants. In stories they don’t usually mind if they’re villains, but they’re also play with them being servants in stories.
ewwww. maga will hate my story then. usually my heroes or allies are different skin colors.
One of the few emails I’ve gotten that was negative about my book was that a black man is sheriff in it.
