Violence is a pretty good answer when someone is trying to touch you without consent. Fist to the face and he stopped immediately.

Not all things are possible through violence. I cannot fix my internet router by throwing it across the room

By breaking the router, you force yourself to buy a new one. Thus the router is fixed.

You need to direct that violence in the right direction. You don’t start a revolution by executing the dude taking drive through orders at burger king.

Try kidnapping a tech from your internet provider and cut off toes every few minutes until your wifi works. I guarentee you it’ll be up an running before you get to the second foot.

For the mods, though I know we’re not on Reddit: this is a joke.

I know it’s just a metaphor but it really would depend on what was wrong with the router.

I can’t imagine anyone here having been in the same room as an armed maniac ex-convict on drugs.

And not just one or with the same one, mind you.

That’s why I’d like to avoid violence. Honestly. I’ll put a lot of energy into it so we can avoid it.

But if the rich assholes won’t acquiesce, there is going to be violence.

Yeah the numbers need edit for actually meaningful and instant change are much lower than people think.

Not everyone needs to stand up. Not even one in ten have to. 3-4 people out of a hundred is enough.

And at any given time 3-4/100 are definitely up for violent revolution. And we don’t need a violent one. All we need is properly coordination. But for that, we need to accept others.

Which is why pretty much all media can do is FUD. Fear, uncertainty, doubt.

Apathy is the greatest tool of the oppressor.

Exactly. FUD is what the opposition use to keep the revolution from happening, to prevent those who want to see change from believing it will work.

And as for accepting others, that’s another big hurdle to overcome. People need to put aside their differences to work towards a common goal, and for that there needs to be organised energetic leadership. Something else that the opposition tries to prevent.

Oh god remind me of a funny story of when I met a friends cousin who had just gotten outta prison for murder and I was staying at his house. The vibes were odd.

My friends dad and uncle were both cops in the area.

The guy had killed a dude from a family they had issues with. Something about land I think, dont remember.

Luckily the guy was intimidated by me. Went and played cricket with him later, he scared a kid and I had to step in again.

Yeah, uhm, not to dismiss you in any way, but I know a few non-psychopathic murderers. One was my neighbour. Nice fella. Once felt a bit threatened as he questioned me about my keys to the storage place we shared where someone had stolen a half a k of meth from him. Because I had honestly lost my second key. Luckily I found it so knew ot couldn’t have anything to do with me. He made very nice food as well. Cleanest apartment I ever saw. Guy was like 55. Died some years ago. Rip.

The people I’m talking about are people who’ve no regard, no empathy, ans can do anything at the flip of a coin. Unless you’re a massive dude (and I’m ~6ft) with training in self defense and (or) have a strap (which is very rare here), those guys will make you shit your pants.

Translate that bruv. And that was merely weeks after he got out for kidnapping and felony assault for pouring lye on someone and holding him for days. Shooting up dishwashing liquid into his neck.

Ah in that case lemme tell you about the Afghani migrants here. Often part of the ttp (Taliban) and zero, zero fucking regard for their lives. And I mean they’ll be ready to die over nothing at all.

People I stay the fuck away from. They live in temporary houses which get destroyed with heavy rain or snow etc. Gotta make sure not to interact with em at all.

There has been a decline in the Afghani population here, but the remaining population seems to be even more volatile. Was at a waterfall with friends when some just showed up and started shooting in the air, celebratory gunfire is used for intimidation and everyone cleared out. There were kids and families there. Pissed me tf off but can’t do anything about it.

I’m also 6’2 and have guns. Carry one if I’m in the Taliban heavy area (with no intent of using it), infact never have used is.

zero fucking regard for their lives

No see but these guys are smart and have high regard for their own life, but zero empathy for the feelings of others.

Yeah, I stay the fuck away from them nowadays as well. Got enough of that in my teens/early twenties. Wanted to see some “proper” UG culture and yeah, I did.

These people I’m talking about are just a part of any population. Anyone from 1/50 to 1/200 is a psyhopath, and some of them, just have no morals. I may be one too, but I do have strong morals.

I got a few death threats from a murderer’s friend some months ago, that made me take a pepper spray with me for some weeks, as I’m not in the best shape. I’m like fucking 65-70 kilos depending on the week, and that’s not tight muscle.

More of a lover and a philosopher than fighter. Criminal sure, but a not a violent one. And not a thief. But like, I sell weed in Finland, so… tehcnically…
