It’s still April in your country then
Pretty much everywhere, it’s going to be hot.
Changing
In Australia it depends on whom you ask.
The Greens say it’s a catastrophe.
The Labor party says it’s a problem, but not enough of one to actively do anything about.
The Liberal party tell you what you want to hear, but support the fossil fuel lobby while saying that it’s not manmade.
The National party wants more nuclear power because apparently it’s “better” … for some reason that nobody understands.
One Nation blames the immigrants
The Trumpet of Patriots blame One Nation.
Fringe dwellers blame COVID, or grasshoppers, or kangaroos … it’s hard to keep track.
Temperate.
Climate change means that we get 50% more rain per year than we did when I was born and at the same time we have a lot more droughts. Right now it looks like the current drought might be letting up.
Singapore. Hot and Humid at 30C+ 24/7/365 - my neck frequently breaks out in rashes.
I don’t expect Singapore to be around within the next 50 years due to Climate Change tbh
It depends. Where I live now it’s warm and sunny most of the time (Baden-Württemberg), where I lived before it was a lot chillier (Berlin).
Uk. Cold, damp, summer yo yos between scorching and tepid. In winter we don’t get much snow, instead the rain freezes
We love to talk about the weather here but we actually have some of the least extreme weather on the planet. Definitely getting hotter decade on decade, though
Different areas have different weather in the UK. It rains much more in the NW of England than in Kent, for example.
South Africa, Western Cape. Pretty shit actually. There’s like one month in the year that I actually get to dress up nicely without sweating and stripping off layers. And there’s barely any autumn or spring to speak of. It’s just hot weather into hotter weather into less hot weather again and into a month or two of cold. I preferred the weather on the eastern side of the country in Kwa-Zulu Natal. Winter and summer are more defined and there’s at least a hint of autumn and spring.
Ultimately I want to be somewhere cold though. I feel like the older I get, the more I hate this endless fkn summer. I want to be cold and cozy and comfortable and wear all my jackets and cool shit daily.
Netherlands. Pretty similar to the UK but our rains generally come in bigger bursts compared to your shorter periods of rain.
