We’ve been engaged for a while, we’ve looked at various rings, we’ve discussed all sorts of things and sent each other pictures of stuff
She liked this one, and when I sent other options, she was diplomatically disinterested in them
In seven weeks, we’re going to be in a beautiful part of the world, somewhere peaceful and with spectacular natural beauty, and I’m going to wait until we’re alone, find a reason to be behind her for a second, get down on one knee and wait for her to turn around
We’re both going to cry and laugh and hug and totally lose our minds!
I’m so happy!
Doesn’t engaged mean that you proposed and she said yes? Isn’t that when you give the ring? (I don’t really know, engagement rings are not a thing in my culture, but that’s what I saw in American movies)
I’m not American!
And we do things our own way. We’re both kinda unconventional people
