Question is why your parents asked.

…It’s habit, I guess? Like, I am legitimately curious what their motivation was in that instance. Why do people specifically seek out McDonalds?

Regardless of whether you like the food, the draw is usually that it’s consistent and familiar.

          The paste is consistent.

          The paste is familiar.

Makes sense. Kinda like how Usain Bolt (IIRC) ate McNuggets before a big race because they’re known and safe.

Full lunch in a local place with soup, bread, drink, hot dish (menu, 3-4 choices), coffee: 8€.

McMenu with big Mac (the medium one): 7.65€

      I mean…

Edit: I meant that McDonald’s is stupid expensive for the kind of crap they serve, and for the same amount of money you can eat a lot more and a lot better in many, many places.

I feel for the employees. But fast food needs to end. As an American.

All of it fast or sit down is a ripoff since covid ended in Canada.

McDicks is no exception. So them being American on top of that makes this the obvious outcome.

If I want to pay out the ass for a shitty burger while stoned, I’ll go to A&W. Oh and I doooo haha.

It’s not the shitty conditions and pay for the workers, not the shitty food, not the quadrupled prices, not the open support of fascists… must be ‘anti-american sentiment abroad’.

They may complain with the government about the anti American mood, but something tells me they won’t
