Ownership of Greenland is not about the US, but about the protection of the entire free world - and Denmark cannot provide that, says Donald Trump.

Russia gets Donesk, otherwise it is an “unfriendly act” from Ukraine, says Putin.

    That sounds exactly as stupid.

You mean the convicted felon Rapist manchild known for acting like a child is… Acting like a child?

I’m so glad 25% of the population got to destroy the country because they can’t handle LGBT people and immigrants existing.

No hard feelings if you want to build a wall around the US, Republicans here seem to think those are foolproof.

Looks like conventional politicians don’t know how to deal with trump.

You don’t say “no”. You say “I’ll trade it for California”.

By not reacting with a united front when he first mentioned the idea of invasion, Europe normalised threats of war as a negotiating tactic.

Has anyone seen reactions to this from people who say that Ukraine should just give Putin what he wants? Because I haven’t and I’m curious.

Greenland is culturally part of the US sphere, as can be seen by the lack of trains. The hyper aggressive EU, the former global colonialist are working hard to develop a new colony in the Americas. Just look at the former German foreign minister, who is calling for conquering Canada. Washington’s security is at risk, so naturally they are going to nuke the entire world. What else are they going to do? /s

I am sure we can come to a deal where the US extends the territorial defense of Greenland, they already have bases and troops there.

US companies are also very welcome to invest in mining operations, if they think it’s profitable.

This is about pounding your chest and looking strong, treating the world as a map painter strategy game.

But evil Greenlanders don’t allow virtuous oil companies to ruin their environment to get the oil. Someone needs to liberate all that oil /s

where the US extends the territorial defense of Greenland, they already have bases and troops there.

They already do this, as you’ve acknowledged yourself

US companies are also very welcome to invest in mining operations, if they think it’s profitable.

I guess this was already possible in Denmark, but according to Danish Laws and Social Standards

So why do you want to negotiate with him?

I don’t. But I wouldn’t rule out that they simply decide to just take possession of Greenland without asking.

The US were our closest ally, so this Greenland-thing is baffling. It’s like someone saying they want free access to your house or else and they already have a key.

Perhaps there is a deal to be made, the US can have Greenland and they in turn give them the same area but on their main land.

Why do we need Greenland? Is it because they make cheap eggs? Is that it? They are a magical island that has chickens who lay golden eggs every 5 minutes and eggs cost only $0.13/dozen. Is that it? Is it? IS it? IS IT!!! . . . I didn’t fucking think so.

They do have a lot of cheap eggs, but not of the chicken variety. Cod, halibut, shrimp, crab, and prawn eggs should all be plentiful though.

Maybe Denmark should offer Greenland in exchange for Florida.

And when he then retorts, foaming at the mouth and furious, why on earth he should exchange an important part of his great country in such a horse-trade, they end the conversation with a simple “Exactly.”

In some centuries, there will be games like Donald 3 making fun of the absurdity of dying in/for/because-of the Arctic over thawing glaciers.
