Quick save often lest you have to repeat ten minutes walking or the last couple of fights but do worse (or better damn you rng) than the first time. At least it’s just a quick F5 to save and not ‘find a place to rest to save’, plus the camp/fast travel system seems pretty forgiving to me so far.
