In an odd way, it sort of reminds me of those old paintings of noble women wearing giant dresses that they probably needed a team of maids to strap them into.

I read the article, and the only abuse here is the state abusing its authority.
I don’t really know much about the mother other than what’s in the story, but she obviously raised a child who feels independent enough to walk a mile to town by himself at age 11. (The title says “10”, but the article says “11”.) I would say that this is a positive thing.
On the other hand, the state is threatening to take away all of her children with this single incident. The state wants to break up this family unless she complies with all of their invasive demands. Breaking up a family seems like tyranny, especially in response to such an innocent incident.
The hypocrisy is just the worst part.
I get the humor of the comic, but I generally think it’s a bad idea to compare two people in order to make a judgement, or even two groups of people. If you actually look at the groups, you’ll almost always find that each community has its strengths and weaknesses. They can actually learn from each other.
I was watching a video of a lady who escaped from North Korea. There was a real food shortage, and people were barely surviving. But she also said that she missed the feeling of community that she felt in her home town. That there was a certain kind of happiness that she felt living in a poor community struggling to get by that she couldn’t replicate.
That was necessary because for that toilet if you were misaligned, things could go very wrong. I don’t know if the newer toilets require the same training.
Astronauts have one of the weirdest jobs. How many prestigious jobs require you to watch a video of your own asshole?
Somebody should make a FOIA request for them.
Vertical ranching
And tar pits are just alien latrines.
This would be a controversial comic if it were released today, due to all of the controversy around the idea of vicious breeds.
Edit: Well, I tried to word my comment so that it would be about the comic and wouldn’t elicit this sort of discussion, but I guess I failed.
If he was found guilty of participating in an insurrection, then Trump would be constitutionally prohibited from holding any federal office.
This idea in particular seems inconvenient to me, but there may be people who would prefer something like this.
I had a very small apartment when I lived in Japan, and honestly, I really liked it for the most part. It was a bit bigger than what I think they’re saying in this article, though.
Honestly, it is such an obvious lie, too. Can companies really just lie in their filings to the FTC?
If she really believes those breasts, ovaries, and wombs are so important, why was she telling women to think about things? You don’t think with breasts, ovaries, or wombs.
And what will she do when she hits menopause? How will that affect her beliefs?
There’s actually quite a lot that’s blatantly out in the open right now. Here’s Trump virtually saying outright that he trades government positions for political support.
That’s just what the public knows. There’s surely a lot more sinister quid pro quo behind the scenes.
You have forgotten about the currency that Trump usually deals in, something called “quid pro quo.”
Boy it really makes those pictures of bees covered in pollen seem slightly less cute.
Sounds like somebody’s got a case of the Mondays.
They do travel in flocks.
This is the real answer.
CBS not fact checking gives the liar a strong advantage.
The moderators not fact checking is fine for things like debate competitions because the judges are experts.
But in a public debate, an opponent even responding to a lie legitimizes the lie. “Of course he’d say that.”
When a candidate lies and the facts are readily available to the moderators, it is imperative for the public good that they fact check.
I also basically never get bored. If I am put into a situation that other people would find boring, I tend to get lost in my thoughts or daydream.
If that’s not an option, I often find that I don’t get bored even just doing simple tasks that others would find boring.
The only time I ever generally feel bored is if I am somehow required to do a truly mind numbing task, like wait for something to happen, and I am forcing myself to pay attention.
