Despite his appearance and delivery, i always thought Norm was the most “punk rock” comedian. He actually stood for something, stood by his friends and was true to himself. I did not always agree with his bits… But i never thought he was outright hateful. I think he tried to touch on the humorous or more absurd elements of society, with his commentary. Which was mostly the stuff i liked least… However, i believe that while Norm may not have understood some of these things, he wasn’t intolerant of them.

Norm was about as big of an anti-celebrity, celebrity as i can think of. He always seemed eager to be silly and to laugh, and to love his small group of friends. I’m fairly cemented as being left of center, and i adored Norm.

Check out “project farm” on YouTube. He has an excellent channel and had vids for puncture repair kits, portable compressors and jump packs. He is great.

I turned off cloud saves for it. It was murdering my patience when a friend would ask me to play another game while I was in a bg session. I cant figure out if it uploads ALL saves, or just the most recent. I quick save a ton, so i guess i could be to blame… But since im only playing on one pc, and not on my deck, i dont need the cloud save atm.

My opinion is that Odetta makes the next book hard to read, but the next book is really strong… So it maybe worth the trip. Imo King isnt the best author cover to cover… But his highlights are undeniable. So id urge you to keep going.

I am still skeptical over all of this. It is just my nature. I am in the “I want to believe” camp, but just cant bring myself to believe it until I see it. I believe Fravor saw a tic-tac shaped object that defied physics. I believe we see UAPs all the time. I am not so sure that we havent developed some technology somewhere, that allows us to do unimaginable things like these craft have done. I know the arguments as to why it makes no sense that they are where they are doing what they are doing… I get the counters to what I think… but it doesnt make me stop thinking that it is most likely what it is.

Grusch (sp) is not Fravor. If he is being honest, great… that is great. But there is something in his body language i didnt like. I feel like he enjoys the spotlight to tell his story, more than he enjoys tellling his story.

To answer your question though, lets just say for a moment that what he is saying is true… that we have recovered craft, and some contained non human organics, and that they are aliens. I dont thikn we hear anything fast. I think there will continue to be meetings that get hushed up, while they formulate a system of responses. The public wil be the last to know.

Also in regards to this being a smokescreen for the Hunter Biden garbo… lets not forget that this could also be a smokescreen for the torrent of Trump indictments and legal woes. It seems like this distraction serves both sides equally… which to me, makes it all more of a viable diversion.

I dont think anything is necessary, other than upgrading your storage. I considered an SD card, and decided the price break was just better overall for an ssd. I got a western digital 512 for like 55 bucks I think.

The hardest part of the swap was getting the case apart. I did watch a couple of videos for tips before I did it though… it made it pretty painless. the biggest pro tip was to start the separation of the case by one of the trigger buttons, and just run a credit card along it to pop the tabs. Another suggestion is if you dont have a set of tiny screwdrivers, i would recommend getting a cheapo kit. I had one I made due with, but even it was slightly too big for the task.

Like I said, I would watch a couple of vids so you know what to do as you proceed, how to flash the new ssd with the os, etc. It really isnt that hard. I am not too terribly of a tech savvy person and was able to do it.

I just got the bottom dollar deck, and it came with a case btw. I bought a cheap dock off of Aliexpress and it works fine. I think I paid under $25 for it… i am certain you could probably get the same one on amazon for ~the same price. I definitely wouldnt buy the valve dock. If you dont have a controller, the world is your oyster. I bought a cheapo $30 bitdo.

I think the brand of screen protector I bought was Ivoler, and it was a very easy install… it came with a “frame” to square the glass install.

I was looking at this game, and it was what literally made me pull the trigger on a steamdeck… It should be arriving today, and i hope to have the ssd swapped, reimaged, and get that installed so i can play some this evening!

Ill be getting mine later this week, and that screw issue is not what i wanted to hear.

I just bought the base version, and it should be here next week. I bought a 20 dollar docking station from AliExpress, a 54 dollar 512gb ssd from amazon, and an aftermarket antiglare/screen protector. I am still well under what I would have spent for the highest tier.

Ive been wanting a mobile gaming platform, and i could no longer deny the steamdeck. It beings the steamgames i would like to play from a couch and adds the options for emulators my pi couldnt handle. I also feel like the next gen will have a mich higher price point, as well as more options that would only range higher and higher… So i figured now is as good of a time as any.

I think meta will dominate the space that federates with it. Hopefully none of my instances will do that… And I will be unaffected.

This might sound crazy, but i am just using the website via Firefox on my phone. Jerboa wasnt doing it for me, and someone recommended just using the website… I prefer it over jerboa. I imagine with all the development going on, there will be something better showing up, but until it does, I’m just going old school.
