Damn sid meiers may have to update the rankings in civ and bump old Dan quale up a few ranks sounds like he isn’t as terrible as he once was
I mean you’re not wrong but I’d argue you can get more interesting cve’s using a higher more performant language such as c++. Where there are are ways to include CVE 's from C and introduce new ones to each level of your program using inheritance.
Simpsons did it already…
But really look at project Westford created a bit of stink
Been ages since I had to recompile a Linux kernel to deal with hard real time (via RTAI) but I recall emc2 being a great alternative to all the fussing around recompiling as some one did all the work for that.
I also recall using this resource . Eventually I just made a class for the threads I was using to wrap POSIX and RTAI calls for periodic tasks and chose which was the underlying method on a compiler flag. If I was on my desktop I could proof of concept most things in POSIX and then test on the RTAI machine. If I need to revisit this again I may dust off my old class and add freeRTOS stuff to it so I can prototype on Linux then try to squeeze it on to an esp32.
That’s sad considering their shuttle could basically land itself. I guess those engineers were on the Ukrainian side
Fixed
Lol. I noticed an attempt every five minutes the other day. Joys of an older account. Use MFA everyone, it’s getting hairy out there!
Now I want that version of Hamilton! Quick get Lin-Manuel Miranda I need some catchy tune about the bridge where Hamilton figured it all out.
But who is the villain his kid asking if he figured out how to multiply vectors ( been a while since I read the story about this )
Umm I hate to point this out but Canada has never operated F-16s. Perhaps some wire got crossed here and they ment F-18s ( Canadians operate a variant of those) or perhaps they mean training in the training plan where they train new pilots In Harvard2s and hawks to prepare for first flights in the f16.
Yea this guy is the hero of the thread, I would have just not bothered with the article if it wasn’t for you pointing that line out
In my defense this is what i see on the first page,
then its
then its
but yes you are right it appears close after the eventual headline. i missed that and i probably was annoyed by the scrolling to get to the darn article too
Na I’m pretty sure the Boeing issues are due to outsourcing and shifting blame to subcontractors.
Ok define acronyms FFS (for fuck sake)
DEI = diversity, equity, and inclusion. Seeing what the hell is hidden behind the letters makes easier to see what this is about
Ah I’ve gotten to the point where I have to define what “frame” and epoch each time base is in before I’ll touch the representation of time( Unix,Gregorian, etc) .To be honest I’m probably just scratching the surface of time problem.
Hell probably the reason we haven’t seen time travellers is we suck at tracking time and you probably need to accurately know your time and place to a very good precision to travel to a given point and we can’t say where and when that is with enough accuracy to facilitate where to land. And people don’t want to land in the earth’s surface or 10000 km away from a stable orbit. Maybe some writer can build that out for a time travel book or to discount it for some reason lol
Yea then they just start shooting down everything randomly,
And really want needs to be modified on the missiles? Sounds more like an airliner issue to me…
First Glonass is a mess, missing quite a few operational satellites Galileo is just ramping up.
Interms of what is broadcast they still work on the same principle satellites broadcast time receiver does something like a linear least squares fit to estimate position, and time.
Mixing all the sources and doing a linear least squares like fit means the bad guy has to spoof more signals, and this system will be more robust but it is susceptible to the same attack just ramped up a bit
