Right, even if you don’t use anything affected by the restrictions being put on the API, I just feel like Reddit will get noticeably worse from here on out. Huffman is basically promising that it will.

I don’t use kbin, but you can probably just block the account, can’t you?
What did you do, follow your nose?
Thanks Gene
I don’t know why someone would be suspicious of you just for asking this question, but it’s probably impossible to know that with any accuracy without intolerable user data leaks.
Would ads be of much value on a lemmy instance? Almost nobody using lemmy would not be using an ad blocker. And if an instance integrated ads, other instances would have access to their communities without ads unless you do some kind of “native content” scheme where some of your posts are ads which I don’t think anyone would tolerate.
I could see maybe sponsorships with locally hosted shout-outs in the sidebar working for some people.
Well thank you for your candor!
This is true horror in a glance a an image. Thanks
It freaked my christian parents out so much I had to hide the game from them.
Such a fucking cool game. Nobody who played that back in 2003 wasn’t impressed.
It’s an extremely common take here that preordering a game is ridiculous! I agree. I wonder if that attitude can be correlated with whatever tendency it is to use tech like the fediverse.
Suikoden I and II are required playing for jrpg fans!
But emulation as a suggestion alone is good. You have access to so much of a field of human creativity if you’re okay copying the bits to your drive.
I wonder if its worth playing the first before playing this. I’ve started it a couple of times but never got far. Couldn’t even say why.
Diablo and Diablo-style games like Torchlight. Every time a new one comes out a few of my friends get excited and I’ve been convinced to try it again, but I think I’ve learned my lesson finally and I have skipped Diablo IV.
I noticed that a bot had started rapidly creating accounts on my instance. None of them used a real email address though, and email verification is required. I’ve since started requiring an application though, anyway.
Edited to add: Fediverse observer reports that lem.monster has 306 users, but this is completely wrong. I wonder how they’re getting these stats.
