Lies are deliberate, hallucinations are mistakes. Talking about lying AIs implies that they have something akin to free will or an intrinsic motivation, which they simply do not have. They are an emotionless tool designed to give good answers. It is comparable to claiming the mechanism for generating speech in the human brain comes up with lies, which it obviously doesn’t, it just articulates them.

I’m not saying humans can’t hullacinate, I am saying it is not the same as lying and that AIs can’t lie.

I can’t tell if you are serious, but as someone with a master in CS and some basic experience in neuroscience, I want to clarify a two things:

• AIs can’t lie, because they neither know nor understand things
• AIs are not like us and you can’t make them like us yet, because we don’t even fully understand how we work

Ich würde sogar so weit gehen zu behaupten, dass seinen Glauben auf der Bibel zu basieren ein fundamentaler Fehler ist. Die Lehren von Jesus Christus, vor allem Pazifismus, stehen in direktem Widerspruch zu vielen anderen Stellen.

Ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher wie hier die rechtlichen Möglichkeiten aussehen, aber es dürfte nicht ohne Weiteres möglich sein, mal eben bei nem Amt nach “Name, Geschlecht und Geburtsort von allen" zu fragen. Selbst wenn, kann es immernoch Dopplungen geben. Oder im äußersten Fall entscheiden sich die Zuständigen Beamten zu Ungehorsam. Es erschwert das ganze in jedem Fall und sorgt dafür, dass du viel mehr Leute in so ein Unterfangen einbeziehen müsstest, wenn es keinen direkten Vermerk gibt.

Wofür auch immer der Vermerk dienen soll, er sollte wenn dann nur temporär, unter stregem Verschluss und separat vom Rest der Akten existierten. Allein die DSGVO steckt hier hohe Hürden, unabhängig von den Befindlichkeiten irgendwelcher Politiker.

There is a way to kinda make this work, this would be hardware based security. You could use a TPM to make reasonably sure the kernel is e.g. mainline / hardened / anything else acceptable. Hardware vendors (i.e. Intel, AMD etc.) would have to provide a service where they hash the kernel alongside their keys for the game devs to check against (probably not for free). You would absolutely have to use Secure Boot tho, and eventually keys may be leaked. Another possibility would be devs connecting directly to your TPM to make sure (afaik this is possible in principle, but not mean to be used that way).

I think there are easier ways to prevent cheating tho, for example simply detecting suspicious activity on the server side, i.e. stats go way up, looking at data coming from clients other than yours.
