  • I love this story. We have preventive measures in place because of chaos like this. Back in the early 2010s I was doing a VA internship at my college’s Veterans Affairs office. We would help other veteran students manage their GI Bill and other VA benefits as well as communicate events for our student vet community. The school used a student veteran distribution list just like this story but for a much smaller group of users.

One day the college’s VA office sent out an email that a prominent anti war vet was coming to speak at the college which sparked a lot of controversy apparently with a good portion of the members of that DL. So much so that a reply all chain began and my student email inbox was blowing up from all the outrage. If I remember correctly, the event was ultimately canceled because so many student veterans were complaining.

    • Primary fire DPS reduced to 55 (was 100)
    • Primary fire slow now ramps from 30% to 50% (was 40%).
    • Primary fire impacts now build up to a slowing effect for 1.5s that slows for 75%.
    • Secondary fire impacts can detonate the 75% slow for an extra 40 damage.

Dev comments: These changes are intended to bring back Mei’s old gameplay without introducing the hard CC of a full stun.

I haven’t had the chance to play her since the changes yet, but detonating the slow effects with secondary fire while having reduced primary damage just sounds like it will take forever to get kills

  • Chrono Trigger was my childhood rpg and just pulls me in with the story, the music, it’s definitely one of my favorite games. I loved playing through the Dragon Age and Mass Effect games as well. I was a huge fan of the Telltale Walking Dead games during college and got to meet some of the voice actors at PAX East. I probably have like 10k hours in multiplayer games like Call of Duty 1, 2, and 4 on PC, but games like that are built around the community so kind of hard to recreate that experience now
