Mine is a bit embarrassing. The first computer that was actually mine was an ACER desktop computer that had Windows Vista on it. The memes about Vista aren’t exaggerating. It was quite possible the most unstable OS I’ve ever used. The concentration of blue screens is unmatched to this day and it was a horrible RAM hog

One of the best things is that everyone is different and as long as those differences harm no one, that’s a great thing! It’s such a shame that even today there are such intolerant people. Sending love and wishing you a lovely day!!

TinyLittlePuni 🌱 (she/her)@lemmy.worldto Fediverse@lemmy.world•Now that PewDiePie is on his Linux/engineering arc, could he help boost the Fediverse?English3·2 days agoSame. Lemmy reminds me of how Reddit used to be ages ago. Discussions are actually elaborate and thoughtful. The quality of content is so much better. I fear if Lemmy gets too big the quality of content will decline

TinyLittlePuni 🌱 (she/her)@lemmy.worldto Fediverse@lemmy.world•Occasional weird spam posts by otherwise (seemingly) legitimate users?English2·2 days agoI remember people using tools such as Greasemonkey to redact comments on Reddit using scripts to mass-replace the content of their comments with babble. If comments don’t get truly deleted when they are deleted or can be brought back up in some way, then editing comments to replace the content of them with babble is better. That’s my two coins anyway. I think something similar is happening here. Another factor could be that some instances might not federate comment deletions as well as they do with edits
