I own a lot of books. There’s a used book store near my house where I get them cheap. Every night before I go to sleep I try to read a chapter.
Between the time when the oceans drank Atlantis, and the rise of the sons of Aryas, there was an age undreamed of.

Vampires, The Masquerade: Bloodlines. The whole vibe of the setting, the story, the locations, and then when I finally understood what the plot was really about. Masterpiece of a game, couldnt stop thinking about it.
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is surprisingly good. Surtur’s theme is one of the best boss themes ive ever heard. I also really like using the Battle Brothers ost for my Pathfinder games.
Every game after Black and White is copy paste garbage, but everything before that is pretty damn good.
Same. People like to call it a groundbreaking open world game when its exactly like all the others: a big world filled with the same few activities copy pasted over and over.
Perfectly stated. Having this new list of identities is extremely useful and helped me out a lot, but of course its gonna have problems. Trying to sort and categorize human beings is always a problem.
In my opinion, trying to put titles and classifications on yourself can usually do more harm than good, and this is a good example why. For a little while I was scared that I wasnt “really bisexual” cause I slightly preferred feminine to masculine people. Then I realized that I shouldnt think about it too much and get stressed over things we all just made up, so now I just do what I want. It sucks that people use that “just a phase” argument, just let people live their lives.
Excuse my ignorance but what makes it annoying? And why is it bad that you now have a slight preference for girls?
(I assume you’re an expert on this subject judging by your username, or you just like riding bicycles)
Why do you hate it? And I dont understand why some people apparently seem to alternate between what they like?
As a long time player of 3.5e and Pathfinder, I would go with Pathfinder. Although I love the aesthetics of 3.5e and that whole era, the balance changes that Pathfinder brought makes it more fun for everyone.
Yeah he was talking about a wild west themed “wandslinging” new area for Eberron, and now he’s thinking about just making it its own thing. If anyone can make that idea work, its Keith Baker.
Its a lot easier than you think. The easiest way to learn (at least in my opinion) is to just read. You dont have to read every word of the Core Rulebook, but at least look through it all, and definitely read the middle section about combat (aka how the game actually works). You’re already playing 2e, so learning 1e shouldnt be that hard. If you need any of the books as pdf just ask, but all the rules and options are available for free on Archive of Nethys (which also has a 2e section). And the Paizo forums are great for asking questions or looking for answers.
Also Eberron is awesome. My favorite setting by far. Shame Keith Baker probably wont be able to continue writing stuff for Eberron due to WoTC.
Me and my family try to go to Cape May, New Jeresy every year. Been going there since I was a kid. Beautiful beaches, lots of great restaurants, its a fun time. Plus they have the best hot dogs on the East Coast: Hot Dog Tommy’s. He’s a really nice guy too (although he retired and now a new guy wears the hot dog hat).
A few weeks ago I also went to New Orleans. Amazing food, but The Simpson’s werent kidding about how bad it could be. The French Quarter really does smell like garbage 24/7, and it gets really busy and hectic at night. Reminds me of a tourist trap boardwalk. But I loved everything else about it, and the National WW2 Museum is there. Although the museum didnt go in depth as I thought it would, and they really focus on the U.S. A tour through there made me realize why so many Americans think we won the war single-handedly.
Seems like a lot of people switched over to Pathfinder recently due to all the bad shit WOTC has been pulling. Im all for it, Pathfinder and Paizo is FAR better than WoTC and 5e DnD (and whatever OneDnD is/was supposed to be). I really wanna run Abomination Vaults as well, just to try out 2e. I prefer 1e, but I 2e is a very well designed system.
I remember finding a great subreddit called r/CharacterArt (or something like that). You could post character art mainly focused on dnd and other ttrpgs. I thought that was a great idea, and checked it out to find some cool art for my own Pathfinder game.
90% of the top post were women in revealing clothing.
Currently running the 1e Kingmaker path, and ive only seen good things about the 2e remake. Its been the most fun me and my friends have had playing a ttrpg. Wish you guys luck!
Also more evidence on how good the Beginner Box is at bringing in new players.
I don’t think im qualified or knowledgeable enough to say why their games have been really bad, I can only give my opinion that they are. And because of that, I probably wont be coming back to buy their stuff.
Fallout has also been an absolute mess for a while. Fallout 4 and 76 were terrible games, and I personally dislike the new direction of the Bethesda games.
Completely agree. Sometimes it goes a bit too far. When I finally accepted myself as Bi, I tried joining the Bi-themed subreddits (back when I still used reddit) and I did not like it. They were all obsessed with labeling weird traits as evidence of being Bi (liking frogs, sitting on chairs weird, etc) and just being really horny. I quickly left. Sometimes the crazy conservatives do have a point: a lot of the lgbtq community is obsessed with sex.
Almost done with Dragonlance: Dragons of Autumn Twilight. Had a few friends and family members talk about how great the Dragonlance books are, but I grew up reading The Legend of Drizzt books. So far I absolutely love it, and if you play DnD I suggest you get a copy.
