Makes sense. I would love to hear how anyone can disagree with this. Just because an AI learned or trained from a book doesn’t automatically mean it violated any copyrights.

When I read text in dark mode and look away I can still see an image of the text in my vision for several seconds. I don’t know if that’s bad or not but it keeps me in light mode most of the time.

Good points. I do think the default community filter should be All instead of Local though.

RIF made Reddit tolerable as the site declined in recent years. I might go back for the live NFL game threads but hopefully Lemmy gets some good sport communities by then. The Connect app has been decent so far but RIF was near perfect in it’s simplicity - I hope other app developers take note.

It would be awesome if RIF could be repurposed to be a front end for lemmy.
