I used to read about UFO encounters all the time (still want to know where Lanulos is). The two theories behind missing time back in the day were that it was either the result of travelling near the speed of light or the result of repressed memories. Repressed memories had been ruled out in the Satanic Panic when psychologists realized they were unknowingly implanting the memories they were finding, which meant it could no longer be considered scientific. As for travelling near the speed of light…




There was someone who talked about this in fedilore a few weeks back, but they got dismissed because everyone thought it was an isolated incident. Those people look stupid now in my opinion.
