I installed lutris on bazzite without any problems. Curseforge runs as an appimage. It was incredibly easy and I’m getting great performance.

I think the only issue I had was mouse passthrough, which was just a checkbox in the wine config.

It’s impossible for it to be old. They keep releasing it, making it new every time. Just last week, they announced that it will be released on my toaster this summer.

Proton makes things super easy for the most part. I mostly only game on my PC and ended up distro hopping to bazzite. It’s mostly setup for gaming out of the box and is atomic, updating similarly to a console. I’ve found it relatively hard to break and easy to reset.
