To me, this just means there’s no evil great enough that our politicians could commit that would make you start questioning the validity of our government and electoral process. This is the liberal idealism that leftists talk about.
Is this accurate? Is there any evil great enough that would compel you to start considering tearing it all down?
Let’s say in 10 years, the choice is between a dem who wants 20 genocides and a republican who wants 21: will you still be a militant democrat?
I suppose for people in the office, it means everyone else has fucked off and the week is basically a wash.

This game was sort of before my time. Got to experience 2 on a beefy gaming PC, so I’m hyped for the zombie mode.
As I was playing 2, I was constantly thinking to myself: “this would be a prime game to mod some zombies into”. Was surprised to hear they’d already done it in 1.
Hopefully they ported it well.

31·14 days agoIf you’re considering building your own firewall, you’ve started down a long path of homelabbing. I’d encourage you to start with a proper setup and allow yourself plenty of room to grow. You want your setup to be extensible, and the firewall is just the beginning.
I’d grab at least a 15U rack and a Dell poweredge R210. Throw in a gigabit nic and install OPNsense. You’ll have room for your switches, NAS, UPS, etc… later.
I don’t think this take is entirely fair.
Leftists were claiming Trump was a fascist right at the beginning of his campaign. Immediately, liberals started rejecting this notion due to “reductionism”. To liberals, the idea of a fascists rising to become a viable candidate was unthinkable. How could our civil, enlightened system allow for such a candidate? Liberals didn’t answer this question, and instead just rejected the idea of rising fascism wholesale.
For years, leftists have been sounding alarm bells about Trumpist fascism, only to be answered by asinine mainstream media pieces denying the claim. And now that liberals have sat on their asses and let fascism fester, theyve started pointing fingers inwards and to the left. Liberals are now blaming American fascism on leftists who refuse to vote for genocide. It could not be more in line with the historical blueprint: fascism takes rise, liberals start casting off leftists first to burn.
