There’s a group called “Pause AI” that is exactly this, EA funded (iirc) org trying to astroturf artists against AIart.

Setting up email and actually getting into people’s mailbox isn’t trivial.

Maybe the difference is that Rhysider is doing journalism and Zitron is much more soapboxing. I’m hoping he gets the rants out of his system early (or maybe confines them to his blog where they’re more than welcome) if he’s going to continue doing interviews, because there are moments where he injects his own opinion after a guest answers and it’s a bit awkward. His interview with the Onion guy was great, but his interview with the SEO wizard was kinda painful at times, even though she had really interesting things to say.

Rhysider’s editorial comments come off a bit naieve and even a bit childish at times. His good attitude is sort of infectious though.

• Once bigcorp creates panicea AIs, they won’t need to pirate anymore because they will be able to ask ChatGPT to make all the movies and music they need.

• They don’t think that additional copyright protections will ever be able to touch Microsoft and can only ever hurt the little guy.
