When I went to watch Oppenheimer, several people used their flash to take pics during the movie, and someone sat in the front row on their phone most of the movie.

1. Yes it can carry three children if you get a cargo e bike, those cost slightly more, but still cheaper than a car by far.
2. Yes that cargo e bike can carry a full sized refrigerator it can carry groceries
3. Are you afraid the rain is gonna melt you? I bike to work in the rain and I’m still alive and well, I just wear a poncho to keep dry.
4. Ya you can get a car for 1k but what about the recurring costs of insurance, gas, repairs, etc…

Poor people can afford $40000 vehicles, but they can’t afford a $1500 e bike?

Ya that’s what happened with me, I deleted my account once Musk took over and started a Mastodon account and now I’m on Lemmy too and haven’t looked back at either platforms

But it’s just the randomness of it being release on a random july Wednesday just over a year after releasing the last one. Idk if people will care as much about this one

Neither am I, I do kinda wanna know the general consensus of this, cause r/place was cool when it was on April 1st after several years between, now it’s just over a year in between on a random Wednesday.

I was looking forward to the next version of r/place in a couple years. Now it’s just utterly pathetic pandering to attempt to bring disaffected users back to the site

Hopefully this means more people will take public transit, and that the Nigerian government will also fund such transit
