Hi, feddit.org admin here. We are currently blocking multiple regions due to very aggressive scraping done by companies, such as Alibaba. I will forward this post to our team, to find out the exact reason to why you’re blocked.

There are 3 admins including myself from the Lemmy side and one from the foundation.

As long as multiple mods are able to receive reports it should be fine.

A local account is preferable, since reports don’t federate. Other than that, I would appreciate it, if you were to connect a matrix account to the local lemmy account, but that’s not mandatory.

If you have trouble finding new mods you can create a post in !waisenhaus@feddit.org. Feel free to dm me, if you have further questions or if any issues arise.
