The Netflix series Sex Education is all about a wide variety of characters’ wellbeing and mental health. Even antagonistic “bad” characters tend to have hidden depths and nuance. As a show it was also surprisingly gentle with its characters, rather than just constantly beating them up for drama’s sake.

A Short Hike is a very charming game that’s included in the sale. If you’ve picked up one of the bigger charity bundles on itch.io in the last couple years you may already own it.

At a minimum, I’d want to be able to unrealistically change direction in mid-air.

I’d like to be able to double jump, platform video game-style. Mostly pointless in daily life, but imagine how good it would feel?

I’m not generally into racing games, but this is one series I miss. I was surprised about how it just seemed to disappear.

Kobold Press’ monsters are fun and original. Just be aware that they hit at their listed Challenge Rating, while many of the first party WotC monsters are easier/less effective in combat than their listed CR.

Machines of Loving Grace released three really good albums from 1991-1995 (and had a good song on the soundtrack to The Crow), and then just stopped while working on their fourth. The lead singer now teaches at the California Institute of the Arts.

This couldn’t have been easy, but I’m impressed by the author’s integrity.
