The ones that could barely win 20 games or always misses the playoffs but you still try to check out their games as much as you can.
For me, it was those early 00s Grizzlies teams led by Pau and whose second best player was either J-Will or Mike Miller. Battier was still trying to score and not just the 3&D he quickly turned to. Their bench wasn’t good but someone unexpected will explode - Giricek, Person, Gooden, or Swift. They were just fun to watch despite their complete inability to win consistently.
I loved the process 76ers. So much youth and while there wasn’t very much talent, they damn sure tried. Plus as a thunder fan we eventually got Nerlens Noel and Jerami Grant from the era.
I loved the Lonzo Lakers. We were terrible for a little bit but I finally had some hope once we got Lonzo, Kuz, and Hart. The summer league with them was undoubtedly the best summer league I saw. Not only that but we had Ingram as well who had/has great upside. It was also refreshing to have some homegrown talent that had some real potential.
And then the Lefire nation attacked?
Early 2000s clippers were interesting to watch
Team USA.
Man, I really thought the Oladipo/Elfrid Payton backcourt was going to be something special for Orlando lol
