Permanent Standard Time people are weird. I do not give a shit if its dark when I’m going to work, but seeing the sun going down at 3pm fucks with my mental health. Winter is miserable purely for that reason, I can deal with the cold, not that.
Can we get rid of timezones and switch to UTC please
A bill has been floating in the house and senate for a few years. Trump could have got it done back in 2019. So why is this the only thing he can pass?

I mean, I have no great love for DST, but I have no faith that they can do anything but completely fuck it up somehow. Whatever results will be at best, no measurable improvement, but at least a monumental pain in the ass for those who have to do the work to keep shit on schedule during the morass.

While most people seem to say they prefer DST, research strongly supports permanent standard time.
2/3rd of the research in that link is anecdotal. Further, I still want DST to be permanent. I like it dark in the morning and light further into the day.
Exactly. I’d much rather have more daylight during “my” time after work than while I’m at work in the morning.
