My brother and I are visually impaired boaters. We own a tiny 25ft narrowboat between us. We have a mooring on the Thames. Bot swap over as we move the boat around the network through spring and summer. I am currently on my way towards Fradley Junction on the Coventry. We tend to move slowly. Our goal is to cross the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct then head back. With each of us doing the opposite bits we did there. To reiterate haw slow we tend to go. We are expecting to take 4 to 6 months for the whole trip back and forth. We are obviously both retired now.
