When I click on a link in a bookmark, the list of bookmarks closes , irritating when you have to click 2 or 3 links hidden in folder->folder so you have to open 2 folders to get to that spot again. Why is f****g firefox closes like that? Is there an option to change this bullshit?

    Not possible to open the bookmarks list on the left of the screen and keep it visible ? (That is something I don’t do).

    Would be pretty idiotic to not close it, otherwise opening a bookmark would always require a second click to close the popup.

    Anyways, you can go to about:config and set browser.bookmarks.openInTabClosesMenu to false - afterwards you can hold Ctrl (or just click the middle mouse button) while clicking a bookmark from such popup and the popup should stay open.
