minus-squareacockworkorange@mander.xyzlinkfedilinkarrow-up3·4 days agoProtein. Bones are made of mostly collagen, with calcium nodules to act as rigidity-giving bricks. Babies have yet to calcify a lot of their skeleton. It’s only in puberty we finally calcify it all, thus finishing growth.
So, as the other poster said, they are held together by tendons. But what is between the bones?
